The Miami Dolphins were looking to update their logo, logotype, and uniform design as part of a complete refresh of their brand. They wanted to pay tribute to their history, and create something that was uplifting and progressive. After doing research about the club and, most importantly, their dedicated fans, we developed a design that felt fresh and current. The primary mark shows the Dolphin leaping and looking up as though towards the future; its body flexes in its power position, poised to generate even more forward thrust. The logotype is modern and sleek and uses its rounded edges to create a sense of motion while mimicking the shape of a dorsal fin. The new uniform that goes along with the logo is crisp, simple, and clean: it needs no more and no less.
